Russian_1 provides a basic understanding of the alphabet, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. It addresses grammar patterns and the differences between the English and Russian alphabets.   (Russian_1_Syllabus).
Russian_2 further develops a student’s proficiency in vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Emphasis is placed on listening, speaking and reading skills. Complex grammar patterns are introduced as well as conversing on everyday topics such as, family, home and school. (Russian_2_Syllabus).

French_1 covers communication on a variety of everyday topics. Emphasis is placed on speech, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. A tape and workbook are available to assist in the development of language and communication skills.  (French_1_Syllabus).

French_2 expands on the knowledge of the language. It places increased emphasis on grammar as well as fluency in reading, writing and conversational skills. (French_2_Syllabus).

Spanish_1 develops proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing. A tape program is available for further development in audio and linguistic skills. This course also includes cultural notes on the Spanish language. (Spanish_1_Syllabus).

Spanish_2 expands on pronunciation, speech, vocabulary and grammar. Emphasis is placed on greater flexibility and proficiency of the language skills. Also, additional cultural information will be included in the course.(Spanish_2_Syllabus).

Japanese_1 is a basic introduction to the language in its spoken form. Emphasis is giving to listening, understanding and pronunciation. The Japanese writing system will be introduced and information on Japanese culture will be interspersed throughout the course. (Japanese_1_Syllabus).

Japanese_2 enhances the solid background in vocabulary, pronunciation and oral communication. Additional points of interest on Japanese life and culture will be introduced. (Japanese_2_Syllabus).
German_1 covers speaking on everyday topics, such as home, family and school. Emphasis is placed on pronunciation, speech, grammar, and vocabulary. This course also includes cultural information on Germanic countries and peoples. (German_1_Syllabus).
German_2 introduces additional vocabulary and a more complex study of grammar. Additional emphasis is placed on listening and speaking skills, as well as a focus on continued growth in the proficiency of German communication skills. (German_2_Syllabus).
Latin_1 provides an appreciation of this classical language through a course interspersed with interesting cultural notes on the ancient world and Roman civilization. A basic foundation of grammar, reading and writing skills will be covered as well as the foundation for speaking. (Latin_1_Syllabus).
Latin_2 increases the development of skills in reading, writing and understanding of this classical language with a focus on an increased proficiency in the reading of classical literature. Additional emphasis is placed on reading comprehension, grammar patterns and vocabulary development. (Latin_2_Syllabus).
Precalculus provides the math preparation necessary for the study of Calculus with an in-depth understanding of graphing and trigonometric functions and algebraic theories. (Precalculus_Syllabus).

Calculus is an in-depth understanding of calculus and its applications, including the theory of limits, derivatives and integrals, as well as algebraic and logarithmic functions. (Calculus_Syllabus).

Visual_Math_1  is of particular help to students, primarily on the elementary level, who have not been able to learn math in traditional ways. Using the ancient Egyptian number system, other number systems, and many visual aids, this course provides remedial help in grasping basic math concepts. (Visual_Math_1_Syllabus).
Visual_Math_2 is of great benefit to students who find it difficult to learn math in a traditional way. It builds upon the solid foundation received in Visual Math 1 by applying the ideas and techniques to more difficult and complicated math problems. (Visual_Math_2_Syllabus).
Reading_with_Phonics_1  provides a logical and systematic presentation of the print-to-speech mapping code. Making no assumptions, the letter-sound associations for all twenty-six letters are reviewed. Life skills, such as following directions and completing applications, are reinforced. Short vowels, long vowels, consonant blends, and digraphs are presented in a traditional sequence. Reading and writing skills are linked by a required reflective journal. Comprehension skills focus on narrative texts. (Reading_with_Phonics_1).
Reading_with_Phonics_2 is a continuation of skill development. Phonics skills focus on common short and long vowel patterns. Life skills include letter writing and dictionary skills. Punctuation usage and plural formations are studied. Strong emphasis is given to comprehension: The Plan for Reading Success, Fix-Up Strategies, and expository text structures. Journal writing continues the reading-writing connection. (Reading_with_Phonics_2).
Music_Theory_and_Ear_Training_1 is designed for beginners. It emphasizes Treble and Bass clef musical notation; Major Key Signatures and Scale construction; Simple and Compound Time Signatures; reading and notating easy rhythms and simple melodies; constructing intervals and triads; recognizing intervals and triads by ear. Music_Theory  and_Ear_Training_2 is a continuation of what is learned in Music 1. Beginners are presented with more materials such as Minor Key Signatures; Minor Scale construction; Transposition; Modal Scale construction; Simple Melody construction; Over-one series; Four note chord; Chord progression; Notating Syncopated Rhythms; Notating Subdivided Rhythms; Melody construction using simple Chord progressions.
