Reading_with_Phonics_1 provides a logical and systematic presentation of the print-to-speech mapping code. Making no assumptions, the letter-sound associations for all twenty-six letters are reviewed. Life skills, such as following directions and completing applications, are reinforced. Short vowels, long vowels, consonant blends, and digraphs are presented in a traditional sequence. Reading and writing skills are linked by a required reflective journal.
